Darleen has been a student and teacher of Pilates for 10 years. Her Instruction is based on postural correction, proper engagement of the core muscles, stabilization, recruiting key muscle groups, breathing, balance, strength, & heightening the mind-body awareness. Darleen consistently continues her studies of Pilates, spinal conditions, rehabilitation, and functional movements. Her training experience is with IMX Pilates, Power Pilates of NYC, and renowned mentor Patty Maraldo of NY. She enjoys sharing the benefits of fitness via Pilates and finds nothing more rewarding than helping others push to their greatest potential.
Rachel started learning classical ballet at age 3. She trained at one of the best ballet schools in the country, Central PA Youth Ballet, six days a week for hours each day. When she turned 15, she moved to Miami Beach by herself to train at Miami City Ballet. She teaches ballet fitness classes, choreographing her own dance moves, turning them into extremely effective fitness exercises that completely sculpt and transform the legs and derriere. Paula : Since a young age Paula understood that our physical body was a temple and planet earth was a sacred place. At 16 years old she started studying Tai chi, Yoga, Mind Control and TM(transcendental meditation) courses. She has been in this path of integrating mind, body and soul for more than 20 years.She studied Prana Flow, an energetic, creative, full-spectrum approach to embodying the flow of yoga and Yoga Trance dance, a combination of movement, music, dance and asana in a free-form flow from the techniques taught by Shiva Rea. Paula also always makes sure to incorporate the best Barre moves to her Yoga Booty Class.
Johanna began practicing yoga at the age of 16. She has practiced various styles, including Power Yoga, Jivamukti, and Vinyasa but has found that the Ashtanga method as taught by Sri K Pattabhi Jois resonates with her most and has committed to that tradition. Johanna made her first trip of many to come to Mysore, India in 2012 to study at the K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute with R. Sharath Jois. She continues to study and fuel her passion for the practice with senior teachers in workshops and conferences. Johanna believes that the practice itself is her greatest teacher.
